Timpl has partnered with a global leader in lithium-ion battery manufacturing and is seeking for Sr. HR Manager
Summary:
- As a Sr. HR Manager with experience in labor relations, you will provide strategic direction to the Recruiting & Planning Part teams by communicating goals, vision, expectations and priorities. You will coach and provide guidance/direction to the managers and team members through one-on-ones, team meetings, and consistent communication.
General responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
- Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
- Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
- Conduct thorough and timely Layered Process Audits in appropriate work areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience
- Must be Bi-lingual in Korean and English and maintain professional proficiency or above
- 10 to 15+years of experience in HR Management in a manufacturing company, developing and driving initiatives, project planning & execution
- 7 to 10+ years of experience leading a diverse team, utilizing proven leadership methods
- Cultivating and driving a performance-centered work culture at all levels of the business
- Demonstrated HR Management experience from a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing company is a plus
- Legal knowledge of labor relations.
- Able to travel without legal restriction domestically and internationally in short notices at times to prepare and respond to any labor issues.
Preferred Requirement:
- Experience in dealing with UAW.
- Experience in working in an automotive industry or OEM.
- Knowledge or certification in US/Canadian labor law
- Labor Relations or Law degree strongly recommended
- Korean/ English Bilingual
