Business Development and Operations Specialist

Timpl has partnered with a leading 3PL logistics service provider offering integrated solutions including air, ocean, and ground transportation, warehousing & distribution, and customs clearance. And we are seeking a Business Development and Operations Specialist 


Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning
• Conduct market trend research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantage in the EV and ESS battery logistics/SCM segments.
• Develop and execute market entry strategies that address unique regulatory, operational, and market dynamics in North America.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
• Work with cross-functional departments to implement business initiatives.
• Present financial and strategic recommendations to executive management, conveying complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Support Manager/Director to align financial forecasts with strategic goals, providing input on growth, cost management, and profitability.
• Facilitate ad-hoc and cross functional strategic and operational projects and execute the projects independently and with Business leaders.


 

Key Account Management
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform business decisions and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities; provide insight on business performance.

Client Engagement
• Support the Manager/Director in fostering a collaborative relationship with key clients by interpreting the client’s goals, pain points, and priorities, and by providing insights and solutions to help achieve their business objectives.
• Facilitate communication between the client and internal departments to ensure cohesive and synchronized business operations.



 

Qualifications:

• BS in Finance, Business, Economics, Supply Chain degree or related degree
• 1-5 years of related experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret extensive data to make actionable recommendations
• Demonstrated experience in project management and business development, with a track record of driving growth and efficiency improvements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and collaborate with cross functional departments.
• Fluency in English and Korean preferred.
• Excellent computer skills (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel expertise a must)
