Sr. Product Planning Manager

Timpl has partnered with a leading global manufacturer of innovative building and industrial materials, specializing in surfaces, flooring, and automotive components. And we are looking for a  Sr. Product Planning Manager


Location : Adairsville GA

Position Summary: To develop design and expand our brands opportunities thru solid planning and execution with surfaces product development. This position requires knowledge and understanding of surface products, design development, product development, and product branding strategy. Successful candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit. This position requires establishing all aspects of relationship building and expand design related development, and promoting our brands for residential and commercial business.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive market changes
  • Conduct market forecasting through marketability analysis (3C)
  • Confer with retailers, distributers, and OEM customers to oversee and develop products and designs desired by the market and customers
  • Collaborate with product design team and on new design trend and development
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret customer feedback on new products through various channels and identify key pain points, product features, or attributes requiring enhancement
  • Develop actionable recommendations and strategies for product improvement based on customer insights and feedback
  • Analyze our brand's yearly and every half year of sales in order to support overall Surfaces product sales
  • Handle administrative tasks related to the management and operation within scope of duties
  • Co-work with our corporate office and HQ in Korea in marketing to promote new products.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

Education and Work Experience:

  • 10+ year’s proven track record in surfaces (quartz and/or solid surface) product development and planning
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration / marketing / industrial engineering or related field

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Contributing to team that consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Excellent analytical, planning, decision making, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Enjoy working with others and being a leader to achieve specific goals
  • Highly motivated, quick-learner with ability to adapt in a new working environment
  • Complex problem solving, Critical thinking and multitasking

 

Physical Demands:

  • Position requires regular interaction with customers and clients
  • Position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer for at least 2/3 of time
  • Position requires minimal lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Position requires regular and reliable attendance
  • Position requires travel up to 20% of time
  • Position requires some after-hours work time
